Email us

We answer within two business days. Telling us your iPhone model and the version number from Settings › About saves a round trip.

Found a mistake in a law?
Send the law, the section number and what is wrong. Text errors are fixed at the source and ship in the next update.

Common questions

I bought Lexify before. Do I pay again on a new phone?

No. The purchase belongs to your Apple Account. Sign in with the same Apple Account on the new device and download Lexify again at no charge.

How do I move my highlights to a new phone?

On the old device, Settings › Your Data › Export my highlights & notes, and keep the file. On the new one, Settings › Your Data › Restore from a backup and pick that file. It merges rather than overwrites.

A law I need is missing.

Tell us which one. Commercial Law and Taxation are next in line; other requests are weighed by how many people ask. Every law is formatted by hand before it ships, which is why the corpus grows a release at a time.

A section looks wrong, such as broken numbering or run-together text.

That is a formatting bug and we want to hear about it. Send the law and section number with a screenshot. Fixes go into the next update for everyone.

Is a provision here still in force?

Repealed and struck-down provisions are kept, dimmed, and labelled with what repealed them and when. If a note looks wrong or out of date, tell us. Lexify is a reading tool, not legal advice. Check the official text before you rely on it.

The app will not open, or my notes vanished.

Restart the app first. If it still fails it will show an error message on a plain screen. Send us that text. If you have a backup file, keep it: do not delete the app before writing to us.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in the app is broken, write to us first. We would rather fix it.

Is there an Android or web version?

Not yet. Lexify runs on iPhone, and we have no date to give for iPad, Android or the web.

What to put in a bug report

The more of this you send, the faster it is fixed. None of it is collected automatically. The app does not report anything about itself.
